At Riprap Friends, we believe that children with cancer should have access to all the activities that make up a typical childhood. That's why we offer a wide range of creative, educational, and socially enriching pursuits, from dance and music to foreign language lessons and educational games.

If you're interested in our services, simply ask your social worker to refer you to us. We accept referrals from patients' care providers and social workers alike, and we'll guide your family through a brief application process to ensure a good fit.

Once approved, your child can look forward to up to two Friend home visits per week, during which time they can explore whatever activity strikes their fancy. A parent, guardian, or caretaker must be present during these visits for safety and support.

After 8-12 weeks, we'll reassess the situation and see if you'd like to renew your services. As always, our decisions will be based on your child's needs and feedback from their healthcare providers and social workers.

At Riprap Friends, we're passionate about helping children with cancer live full, rich, and joyful lives. Let us be your partner in making that happen. Refer your child today!
